Carbide tipped circular saw blades are becoming cheaper every day, but there is still no alternative for steel bandsaw and handsaw blades. This machine takes the tedium out of setting the thousands of teeth on those long bandsaw and numerous other steel saw blades.
Hands Off Fully Automatic Filing!
This 3-In-One machine accurately sets handsaws, circular saws and band saws. Simply mount the saw to a saw holding fixtur, adjust the calibrated dials, turn the machine on and you will quickly and accurately file the saw in one pass.

The 387 Automatic Filer comes equipped with a 115 volt, 60 cycle, single-phase motor, pre wired with a grounded plug.

This unit is used, but it runs smoothly and performs as intended. The unit is set up for circular saws as shown in the pictures. The friction drive wheel, part number 358043 (See picture #15), is worn and a new part has been ordered from Foley. The new friction drive wheel will be installed before shipping.
We have no additional accessories. Alternative setups are available with optional parts from Foley-Belsaw. The auction pictures are of the actual unit being sold. About 115 pounds. Includes the detailed 36 page owners manual.
